new babies
called me flicker minded. But the death of my sucker fish was too much to bear.
So I just visited Qianhu during my lunch hour and got 2 new babies.
The first is a replica of my old sucker... only much smaller.
And I also bought a Puffer fish.
Cute tiny guy till you read the info
another dead fish
My tank suffered another lost today.
The only remaining sucker, a long yellow tailed beauty was found dead this morning.
Investigation is still underway on its death, however initial assessment found his tummy has been blackened.
Eye witness accounts stated that the irresponsible owner (moi) fed them some Julie's biscuits while munching on them yesterday afternoon.
When prompted the bad owner refused to comment and would only say that "its a great lost".
Forensic expert will be carrying out their investigation later. His stomach would be opened up to determine if the owner did poison him.
If so, the owner is liable to be charge with daily community service.

The fish and birds around us
Because oil floats on water, despite the massive heat the goldfish simply stay away from the surface They eat the crumbs of fried foods that fall to the bottom. though I wanted how the owner intends to clean the fish poops.
And this is one crazy bird mating ritual

More fishies news
Seem like my office is into fish fanatic. Just after the death of my sucker fish, my 2 lovely neighbors who sat on my front left and right side have both gotten a tank each and some fishies as well.
First I present to you one egg babies.
This is her initial setup, a recycle vase which contains a long lefty plant and 2 prawns last week. The prawns are way to small to be capture by Aileen
And here is the recent photo of her vase which has 2 new babies. I believe one of the is a guppy while the other looks like an angelfish. Anyway the guppy is donated by Eric who affectionately called her LinLin LiLi. The angelfish is currently nameless.
Now here is Emmeline collection. (I just realised my colleagues that surrounding me have names starting with E)
Emmeline with her second attempt (or is it 3rd) at keeping fish.
Its a lone fighting fish and we all know fighting fish are survivals. Very hardy creatures. Oh and there are 2 prawns and you can briefly see one of them.
Super Mario block figure

I so want this. But why is it available in Japan. Probably can get from amazon
a Suit?
The wonderful NDR and her toy boy Ah Beng, invited us to the YoungGun* party last nite. We were treated by lots of bluetag visuals. Some I like, many I think were *wave hands sideways*.
Well Fuzk and I caught a hottie which makes it a worthwhile trip.
Anyway, YL and myself were approached by a lady in a cheena outfit. She introduced herself as something something. (Selective memory effect) She asked which agency we were from. I proudly proclaimed I was from the Defense agency and mention my company name. That left her confuse till I mention I was not in the industry. So she asked what I was doing here. (I nearly said it was the free brooze and food) And that if I am considering a switch to this industry.
I thought the conversation was fascinating and I wonder why she thought I was in the creative industry until Beng pointed out that I looked like a Suit.
Ermm what is a Suit?
*YoungGun is some fancy Advertising party where they honours the "young" upcoming designers/artist/kopiwriter/guy who write 10 lines at work.
driving on the highway
... looking for adventure. (humming it)
Humming aside, I was rushing to changi this morning cruising down the endless ECP at a good speed. I was 30 mins late for a meeting and well its not nice to be always late.
I was keeping at lane 1, the extreme right lane that is. the one where the unwritten rule is if you want to use this lane you have to keep 10km/h above the speed limit or more. Want to guess how fast I went?
Anyway, as I approaches the up hill climb near the suntec portion, a bloody Light colored Cefiro on my left decided to change lane at the last minute. He came into my lane while his back was halfway across my car. I horned that bugger to warn him about it and noticing that he aint gonna care, I had no choice but to hit my brakes. True enough he took my lane and never apologised. Such rudeness.
So I did what every nice driver would, I followed him closely demanding an acknowledge. He probably realised that and filter left and allow me to pass.
I humblely drove pass him in slooowwwly. I could tell from his dressing (from the back) that he is an old man. Passing by, I saw that he has white hair which further confirm my speculation. And once I was beside him, I gave him the look.
Its then I realise thats "Ah Teng".
Later as I arrived at changi where I parked the car to collect my pass, Ah teng caught up with me. He probably din know that I was in the car which he nearly hit. I simply smile and left.
PS. Ah Teng is kinda one of my many subcontractors.

bad office day
I think its a unlucky day for me.
I am suppose to head down changi this morning. Woke up to see it pouring and thought hey at least it wont be sweating hot, only to learn that my dad need to use the car and I cant drive it today. rats. have to walk 3km in the rain now. that darn ship is parked too deep inside.
Next, came to office to grab my laptop only to find out that the wireless access is once again damaged. Cant login and cant get my emails to download. Have to run down to the helpdesk and beg them to service it quick.
Oh and one more thing, the dead sucker fish has been totally eaten up by my prawns/fishes during the weekend. I noticed none of them are particularly hungry this morning. and found a long thin spine, the remains of the sucker lying at where i left it to die.
sighs. I am suppose to be in changi now and yet i am sitting here typing this for reasons i dont know about. hope my suppliers wont kill me. anyway, i am newly single once more. think i will take a break from it all for a long while. too darn tiring.

Fastest death
I bought a tiny black sucker fish today.
Actually we bought 5 in total and distributed them around 3 tanks. Mine being the smallest tank could only contain 1.
That little guy was excited when I released him into his new home. He would run around and stick to the wall and move around again. Quite a sight to watch.
Sadly he is dead now. I found him at the back of the tank as I stretch over to turn off the lights. It seems like he commit suside.
I wished not to blame my 8 orange Angels, my 1 bigboss yellow sucker or the 8 agressive prawns for his early departure.
Perhaps its just not meant to be.
In any case, my prawns are all happy to have some snacks over the weekend. Which leave me this thought. The only reason you are not being eaten, is because you are alive. Stay alive People, the real world awaits!
Funny toys

Here is a list of toys that either the designer thought it was funny, or is totally ignorance about it.
Alarm clock

Though I have only been fascinated by watches and the occassional clock pieces, I must say this is one of the few alarm clocks I dont mind getting.
It does makes waking up alot less painful

Appetite returns
After 2 weeks of battling with food poison, my appetite has finally returned.
Oh and I have no idea what causes the food poisoning either. It started slowly and before I knew it, I have been having stomach cramps and runs to the loo everyday. Thinking back, I couldnt possibly recall what I have eaten 2 weeks ago. Come to think of it, I dont even know what I ate yesterday. (oh yes, pasta)
I guess I wont have suffered for 2 weeks had I taken the necessary medication. But I aint big on pills and rather just wait till the body fights back. Yes its pretty silly, but I dont really believe pills are the cure.
Anyway, now that my appetite has returned. I am feasting on biscuits and chocolate (which I dont really fancy) lying around. Help me.

Test drive
I test drived the I car (Mitsubshi) last weekend.
This is thanks to my cousin who happens to work at the showroom. Oh ya, he promise to any of my friends to get a good deal if they want a Lancer or Evo. And for each recommendation, I get a good treat from him!
Anyway, I quite fancy that little I car. It has amazing power for a 660 horse power engine. Not to mention, its a small light car that is very agile. Though not alot of boot space.
Oh did I mention I was kinda looking for a car. Well, I am still in the thinking process. I wanted something small, cheap and not China/Malaysia made. Something that is enough space for 1-2. No intention of fitting my whole family in it. Just a personal car in that sense.
So my colleagues recommended to me to get the Suzuki Swift. Its quite a looker and I quite fancy it now.
However, will need to pray that I have a large increment in July in order to afford it. Sighs
