Too hot to fly
My colleagues were due to fly off to Europe in a matter of minutes.
Unfortunately the heat wave there has affected their trip. Apparently the weather was soooooo hot that the cooling system broke down. Oh and I was not talking about the aircondition. There aint any of those there.

Voice of Optimus Prime
During Paramount's presentation on Friday at Comic-Con International in San Diego, the studio made an official announcement regarding their live-action feature film version of Transformers.
While the announcement, which was preceded by a taped greeting from director Michael Bay, wasn't as momentous as the much expected first look at the giant robots in action, it was almost as eagerely anticipated by the fans.
A vocal "greeting" by Optimus Prime himself announced that voice actor Peter Cullen, who played the character in the popular 1980s cartoon TV series, will voice Optimus Prime in nest summer's big -budget movie version.
The announcement was met with rousing applause from Comic-Con attendees. The fans have long desired that Cullen reprise the role he'd made famous on TV.

Am I here?
Looking back this past weeks of activities. I was amazed by my lack of comfort I get when I was home or at work.
Thinking back, I was away in France, I went for a week of sailing, I was in and out of office alot. I cant quite feel the settled down feeling at all.
I guess this is what travelling salesman, property and insurance agent felt like. A lack of sense of comfort. Being around so much does give you a sense of freedom. Makes time tick so much faster. Yet at the same time it robs you of a sense of belonging.
A colleague even remarked that they barely seen me around during the lunch gathering.

Ghost rooms
Imagine seeing toilet sinks (and more) hanging out at the side of a wall.
Well its no imagination. "Medianeras" as the name given in Barcelona to the walls still standing after an adjacent house has fallen apart or has been destroyed.

Breeze at Scarlet hotel
We stopped by at Breeze after dinner. It was Sherlyn suggestions. Yet none of us have heard nor been to that place. Indeed we were skeptical, but we went along
Surprisingly it turns out to be quite a nice place.
Breeze was located at the roof top of Scarlet hotel. It had been warm and humid day and all of us wanted a place with subzero airconditions. But the lights and deco won us over and we decided to stay.
Personnaly I kinda like the feel of the place and would hope to come back there soon.
Oh and I bum into my colleague there too.
Recommend me a book
I am currently bookless. Been reading before bed for 6-7 years now and I am absolutely lost.
I recalled when I start my reading, the first book I held was Interview with a Vampire. It was an amazing book, which I find hard to put down. The last book I read was Five people you meet in heaven. And I completed that in a short 3 nights.
Sighs. Any recommendations?

Solving Sudoko without thinking
I guess we all had fun messing around with Sudoko. But there are times when solving it proves to be irriating and down right impossible.
Well here comes a method which doesnt involve thinking. I am so going to try this on the next paper.
Back from sailing
I came back from sailing with a bump on my head. Long story which is for another time....
Anyway I managed to find time to read "Five People you met in Heaven". After reading it, I thought that heaven sounds a little scary now.

crazy taxi
I took a cab home after a long day working on site.
And enter a cab, with the most interesting driver yet.
It started out fine. With him talking about Food places to visit and things to look out for. I was entertaining him a little, while trying to read some mags.
Until he started talking about a female passenger he picked up from MOS. Apparently she was a hot foreign girl in her mid 20s. He bondly introduced her to a friend of his. And those 2 started making out. He even gave me details about how....
Which then he started speaking in Hokkien and I catch no ball what he said.

Radar shows bugs
Imagine looking at the radar picture only to see patches of white.
And guess what, they turned out to be bugs.
The bugs were so thick that they showed up as a rainstorm of mayflies on National Weather Service radar.
Strange ring tone gets girl into hot water
A 15-year-old Singaporean girl was almost refused the right to board a plane at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on Monday due to her phone's rather bizarre ring tone.
Security guards in the airport got a start when they heard a voice shouting, "I am a terrorist."
The "voice" was soon found to be coming from the young Singaporean woman's mobile phone.
The girl was immediately required to delete the strange ring tone. She was allowed to board after getting a severe telling off from the airport security officials.
