Blood donation

BLM will be donating his precious blood tomorrow. And you should join him as well. Yes YOU dont look elsewhere. Come on now, be nice and come down to my lab tomorrow to find him. He will be glad to bring you along is this trip.

Mr. Commando from the lab will be joining him there as well. ohh what fun this would be.

On a lighter note, BLM just collected a package of parts he ordered last week. The good thing is that it finally came. The bad thing is that some of the things he ordered looked different from the pictures and thus he had to make new orders soon.

Anyway, new microP boards will be ready tomorrow. Hopefully by wed, the soldering will be done and testing of all my 3 siblings can be completed soon.

Do you think I looked good in black? Cos they are thinking of spray painting me.

BLM and TSM just gotten some emails saying that I will be showcase for big boss for Uni open house. BLM and TSM had to be present which sux.

On a stupid note, word was passed few days back that there would be a presentation today in the lab. PPl were coming down to see the biped robot and the snake..... however it turns out to be a false alarm.

silly presentation

It was to be a silly day. A complete waste of time in my opinion. BLM and TSM were even wondering is there a need to get ready for a visit by HCJC ppl. I mean what can we tell those bunch of kids????

Anyway, my maker work to get me working. Funny thing is the TSM lost my original program and cant find it. They panic and searched the lab, till BLM spotted his old board with an old chip on it. Plugging it in, it just works.

BLM was quite cool actually, he was still busy working on other stuffs right up to the time the jc kiddos walked in. While TSM was chatting with the others avoiding work. When they arrived, TSM pulled BLM to the front. Snake king was a shy guy and begs BLM to start the presentation first, which he did in a nonchalant manner. Snake King presentation of his snake was an amusement to the jc girls who were giggling of its movement. And when Snake king made comparison with his snake and me, BLM got all defensive and they debate is very funny.

back to school

It has been a long holiday for all. Time to put aside the joy of the holiday and start getting back to work commitment.

YES BLM i mean YOU. I need you to finish the remote controller asap. Time is precious. No longer can you blame TSM who has been there working on coding.

Everything in life depends on chance. Chance can be created for you, chance can be created by you, or chance could just happen. Chance happens everywhere everytime. Many a time, we do not see it till our chance goes by.

So what indeed is chance about? Well its about going for it when it happens. Plainly put I might add. But just how do we control our chances? That all depends on timing. You can wait long and hard for a flower to bloom and it just might never happened. Just one day when you are not around, the flower blooms, wither and dies. Your chance is gone forever. Timing is everything here.

Timing is knowing when, knowing what and knowing where. Timing will enable us to capture our chances and never live the unexpected to be the unexpected. Timing is everything.

Hi all, Its the holidays again. Good time for my makers to take a well deserved break. And also spare me from the intense programming and other hardware upgrades. Oh what a wonderful world

sleepy BLM

It was to be another 8am lect, and BLM knows he has to sleep early. But damnit, Chelsea is playing against Man city, the only team that beat them. So BLM watched till 2am and went to bed.

He tossed and turned the whole night as he is excited abt tomorrow and cant sleep at all. I think he only sleep for 3 hrs in total. Thus he attend his lecture like a zombie with his friend. Only after they went for Brunch did they realised how tired they were.

Anyway, BLM daydreamed the entire afternoon lab session much to the annoyance of TSM. What can i say, today aint a productive day

hardworking TSM

TSM has been extremely hardworking lately. He has gotten alot of coding done and has in fact finished the portion of the coding whereby he can control my walking from the remote controller.

BLM on the other hand is a big fat lazy bum who has been out with his frens much. He has been told that he makes many spelling and grammatical errors but he has no patience to correct them as he is an engineer.

In this trend i see a weird picture. Only 1 of my makers can actually work hard at a time. Both cant seem to be hardworking at the same time. Thus, BLM must relax more this week while TSM slave away and come next week BLM will slave while TSM disappears.

new boards and new parts

Today BLM came early (well he was planning to leave early too). He got an email asking him to collect his parts he got from Farnell and thus decided to walk all the way to the ME dept to get it. Unfortunately, the person aint around and it becomes a wasted trip for him.

Anyway, he proceed to solder the new board. Yes the 1st version of the remote controller is ready. Hopefully everything would just work and that will save BLM alot of debugging while TSM can do all the programming.
