a group of yale students decided to pull this prank
during a match between havard and yale
they fool the havard audiences into holding up these red and white cards
that spell "YOU SUCK"

and it works

lets see this happen in NUS vs NTU someday

BLM and I would like to wish TSM all the best with his final paper tomorrow
after that we hope that he can come straight to the lab
and finish all the work during the holidays

when I first saw this, I was blown away
but after giving some thought, I am wondering where did they hide the battery

perhaps you can tell me

i am back

BLM returned to the lab today
after months of hidding in the cupboard
i tasted my first smell of freedom

he however was pretty blur today when he finally assemble my new board

1. connect the power supply wrongly
2. accidently shorted my motors connector (many times)
3. made my legs vibrant vigoursly for no reason
4. realise he place the board above my metal body thereby shorting all traces
5. burn one of my main chip

when he finally woke up from day dreaming
BLM managed to finish and i was walking beautifully

this left only for my other maker TSM to program
the new codes into my brain

Liverpool won

Both my makers are the craziest liverpool fans ever.
whenever they meet, BLM and TSM would talk endlessly
about how well liverpool did or not

and tonight liverpool who has a injury crisis won against Arsenal

Years ago he realised that robotic research is moving in the wrong direction
Machine are getting more and more complex but cant solve simple things
He decided that he will invent such a reflex circuit
that will react to the changes of the environment

and so the nervous neurons is created
and all my muscles are power by the bicore design
which is based on that

he has gotten complacent and didn't do any work for 2 days

yet his last paper on thursday is the least he like
but he has to show that he is in love with it
apparently our boss is the main lecturer who set this paper
and BLM could not let him down

How not to tow your car

3 things I learned

BLM taught me 3 things today

1. Never drive when you are sleepy, when its raining or when you are in need of a bathroom.
   
   Its worst when all 3 happens at the same time as in BLM case.
   Should have seen him driving like crazy
   



2. Always have breakfast even before the morining paper
   
   Quite embarassing for the stomach to groan thru out the paper
   esp when the lecturer walks by and turns his head wondering
   



3. When the paper is easy for you, it does not mean everyone thinks the same
   
   Always pretend thats the paper its hard
   complaint about the lecturer, whine about the notes
   when they ask you how was it????
   It makes other people feel more comfortable
   

Like any of this actually applys to me

It was a fairly rainy day

BLM reached his exam hall and cursed the day
for today he was having a late paper
and tomorrow early he is having another

to make matter worst he suffered a blasting
headache the entire exam

I think he is stretch too much

Yesterday
chee siong decided he would call BLM
to query about the sizing of my new legs

he rang about 10am.....

BLM called back sounding daze
apparently lack of sleep has affected him
and to make matter worst the exam he took
makes him even more tired

he din even have the energy to say HI
to his friend who sneak behind him and push his bag
(she was nice though)

This is why, ppl who take exams must sleep early
and also one must always turned off their phone in the exam

Crazy BLM was went I heard this idea from him.
It must have been the exam stress.....

BLM is planning to build his own torchlight
but not just any torchlight
he wants it to be special

he is going to use those ultrabright leds
plus my bicore circuit to create one

like i said he is crazy

BLM came down today
but it was not for me
and to make it interesting
he din knew it either

BLM was meeting TSM to collect some paper
TSM was late as usual

so happily BLM waited and played his comp games
(should be studying, thats what I kept telling him)
then jason annouced in a matter of mins
that he is inviting everyone to lunch at suntec
a cool resturant called rice table

And off everyone packed up and leave
I was alone again

The lunch was fantastic
and the makers would like to recommend to all
Now that everyone tummy is fulled
TSM task is to buy jason a farewell present
hehe

MY makers both declared that I am to behave
during the entire period of their exams
they are not to be disturbed
and I am to be a nice nice walker
not to bully the snakebot or the 2 legged shorty either

BLM came down today although he has no lessons
he had to hand in the new drawings for my limbs
I am excited as can be
this old limbs of mine needs some upgrading

BLM also submit quotations for my motors
he had to get 3 quotes and basically just found one and guess 2

TSM came soon after
his laptop crush once more
kinda the 2 time in 2 months
and this means 1 thing
he needs a new hdd or a new laptop
well no games for him till after exams then

the cute gal came by again
but this time not to look at me
she came to check out the video BLM did for his HR project
she was mildly impressed
can see that she was hungry and dying to drag my maker out asap

BLM wanted to come to the lab
submit his new legs design so that
i can have new limbs
but.....

he disappear after a call

well he look damn tired today
seem like he din sleep last night at all
must have been a busy week for him
cause he is so burnt out

My makers went up for presentation
they came down behaving differently

TSM was a mess
he screw up on several portion
and sam kept asking what he has done so far
(which is not much)
and TSM failed to catch that hint and answer
Sam grew impatient before he confront TSM directly
only to be review that not much has been done
but alot of bull was shitted

TSM felt quite lousy after that
knowing that he has a lot to catch up on

BLM on the other hand was in a good mood
he managed to answer sam on most qns
and on those he cant he gave a politcally correct manner
and said that he will take the suggestion into consideration
a skill BLM learned whereby he has to make the examiner sound smart
remember sound smart only

well it didnt last long for them
they got an email from our boss
who asked them to collect their test scripts
BLM did badly and was demoralisd
TSM did better and had his spirit lifted

All i can say was this world is fair after all

Both my makers are pretty stress out

They have this crazy early presentation to their examiner on monday
and since friday they have been preparing for it.

The powerpoint was done in a snap
as they have to spend more time writting a lengthy silly informal report
If you ask me, Sam Ge did it on purpose

He made them have it early so that he can have his lovely holiday after the exams
he wants them to suffer and hopefully fail so that his project will shine
he is just mean

My makers are nice people and they are great I tell you
I am sure they will show Sam Ge who is the better person
who has the better project
and who is prettier (me)

Of course I cant wait till all my brothers and sisters are completed
When they are, we will march to his office and terrorized him

Since we all know Sam Ge the horrible will be examining my dear makers
they have decided to come up with various plans to counter him

1. instead of building the remote controller box as BLM wanted to
but cant due to budget constrain
he had decided to incorporate it into the computer controller portion
thereby using the host computer to connect to the RC box and from there
using it to control me.

This will justify the cost as well as allow him to create a separate unit

2. TSM is finding ways to counter the possible question on those
positioning problems.
Currently the idea is to "smoke" on localise positioning
but he may not bite that
guess a digital magnetic compass has to come into play

3. the makers decided to spare me the scruntity of sam ge
they will not be demostrating my abilities live but
rather they will be using old video clips to show that

The guys are just crazy
for the entire time any of them were in the lab
they just sat by the computer screen
and play again

all 4 of them this time
and to make matters worst
none of them did any work at all

All he needs now is some really really small switches
and guess what he is smarter now and decided to use the school to order from farnell
