Macquarium
I would like one of these.
In other news, my colleagues alerted me to a "cooked" prawn found in my fish tank. As I inspect the prawn today, I found thats its actually the remains of my big ugly prawn (which I have grown to love).
There is pieces of prawn shells everywhere and its pale pinkish body.
He was molting peacefully and somehow my 8 babies must have gotten hungry.
beep beep
Annoy-a-tron from ThinkGeek as a great way to express your true feelings to these people. It’s basically a small circuitboard about the size of two quarters but what it’s capable of is worth far more than 50 cents. You see the Annoy-a-tron is designed to produce a short beep in random intervals ranging from 2 to 8 minutes. Just select one of the three sound options including 2kHz, 12kHz or alternating and then stash the Annoy-a-tron somewhere discrete and hidden in the proximity of your target person. If hidden well enough the Annoy-a-tron could be the gift that keeps on giving for weeks and weeks.

Why you should go on holiday while on Leave
Besides the obvious reason.... here is the reason which I stumble upon myself.
After spending 2 days at home resting, I ended up spending more time with just my mom. At first its the usual chat, then it turns to nagging.
First Nag
Mom: Please clean your room! Its worst than a garbage dump.
Me: Yes mom.
(Job done in couple of mins to my standard)
Second Nag
Mom: Go get your winter clothings!! You will be flying off soon!!
Me: Yes mom.
(Shopping done in a short couple of hours)
Third Nag
Mom: Boy ah, you are not getting any younger. Why don't you go and find a Girlfriend, huh?
Me: .....
Me in my head: Its not like shopping lor. Not to mention you didnt like it when I had a girlfriend 10 years ago, why you rushing me now?
Clever dog
A wealthy man decided to go on a safari in Africa. He took his faithful pet dachshund along for company. One day, the dachshund starts chasing butterflies and before long the little dog discovers that he is lost. So, wandering about, he notices a leopard heading rapidly in his direction with the obvious intention of having lunch.
The dachshund thinks, "OK, I'm in deep trouble now!" Then he noticed some bones on the ground close by, and immediately settles down to chew on the bones with his back to the approaching cat.
Just as the leopard is about to leap, the dachshund exclaims loudly, "Boy, that was one delicious leopard. I wonder if there are any more around here?" Hearing this, the leopard halts his attack in mid-stride, as a look of terror comes over him, and slinks away into the trees. "Whew," says the leopard "that was close, that dachshund nearly had me."
Meanwhile, a monkey who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the leopard. So, off he goes, but the dachshund saw him heading after the leopard with great speed and figured that something must be up.
The monkey soon catches up with the leopard, spills the beans and strikes a deal for himself with the leopard. The leopard is furious at being made a fool of and says, "Here monkey, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that conniving canine."
Now the dachshund sees the leopard coming with the monkey on his back and thinks, "What am I going to do now?" Instead of running, the dog sits down with his back to his attackers, pretending he hasn't seen them yet...
And just when they get close enough to hear, the dachshund says, "Where's that darn monkey? I sent him off half an hour ago to bring me another leopard."
Leaving on a jet plane once more
Hey guys, I would be leaving for France once more.
And though it might look like a wonderful traveling destination.... I am only there for work. And NOOO! Its not in Paris and I wont be anywhere near the Effiel Tower.
On a side note, I would be taking any overseas order you might have. For those keen on LV stuffs, please email me the item number, colour and preferably a photo of it. I am a guy after all and WE would would think all the brown bags look the same.
I should be back for Christmas. I think.

First I present to you the 1UP mushroom. Its real mushroom which you can keep in a dark spot and let it grow. Apparently its safe for consumption. Not saying I would eat this or any mushroom for that manner.
And next is a series of photos of a wedding cake based on the Mario Bro adventures. Mario always get the Princess somehow.

stress
I am an endless ringing sound in my left ear for the past 2 days now. It has kept me from sleeping and gives me a bad headache.
To make it worse, I was out at sea this morning. Had to wake up an hour after I managed to shut my eyes. I was dreading to go to work today but I have to. Work needs me.
The ringing persisted constantly and my attention began to slip by. Giving up a few times, I went for some smokes before dragging myself back.
And then I learned that the trial results aint satisfactory. Good news, we get to arrived before midnight. Bad news, we have to do this shit again.
As I walked away toward my home, I thought back that a year ago I was having the longest break of my time. The period before I start work and after I grad was a dream. Nowadays any attempts of taking leave might mean I might have to cancel it later.
Sighs. The ringing still has not stopped. and I have to work again tomorrow.

Fish tank 2.0
I have upgraded my tank....
well to be correct, after weeks of not having time to take care of it (as well as over zealous colleagues who helped me in feeding). My tank has turned into a yellowish nightmare. There is lots of shit which the filter could not reach that kinda end up becoming an eye sore.
Soooo, I bought new plants and employed 3 tiny yamato prawns to help in keeping the tank clean and clear.
Here is the new look

Reactable
The reactable, is a state-of-the-art multi-user electro-acoustic music instrument with a tabletop tangible user interface. Several simultaneous performers share complete control over the instrument by moving physical artefacts on the table surface and constructing different audio topologies in a kind of tangible modular synthesizer or graspable flow-controlled programming language.
I just tot that this is a cool DJ tool

Snap Electronics
I did learn my Electronics the hard way and the only way we all know. Thats by designing the circuit, soldering the component, test, debug, test again, debug again, curse, break board and start all over again.
Its definately help make me a better engineer. So when I saw this THING. I cant help but feel its cheating. Shortcuts get you nowhere.
On the other hand, make a good gift for a 5 year old.
Guess what I bought (again)
Its my day off... but nooo, you have to come down here with your big guns and tentacle... Quote from Will Smith in Independence Day
Well after catching Gundam Seed, I kinda like the bad ass Aegis Gundam. And using a free cash voucher I bought the bugger.
Took me 2 hours to completely fixed up the whole thing. and though it feels a little flimsy, I must said that its quite a beauty.
Oh and while I was in HMV, they were showing Transformer the Movie.
There is a scene where Devastator was destroying Autobot City and Optimus Prime was just arriving with Reinforcement.
OP to Grimlock: "Grimlock, destroyed Devastator!"
Grimlock: "Me Grimlock loves challenges"

Digital love
Last night I had a dream about you
In this dream I'm dancing right beside you
And it looked like everyone was having fun
the kind of feeling I've waited so long
Don't stop come a little closer
As we jam the rythm gets stronger
There's nothing wrong with just a little little fun
We were dancing all night long
Off again on monday
The last couple of weeks have been a busy period for me. Hardly had the time to even finish up my work.
I was looking forward to finding a time to get some rest. And tomorrow is a perfect opportunity. With 2 ships sailing, there is hardly any work at all. So guys have fun in my absence.

The last kiss
I saw this while waiting in line for the movie The Departed.
It has one of my fav comedian actors in it. Wish I caught his earlier works.
Saw the departed
Caught the Departed with my colleagues. I must say, if I din see the HK version, I would have thought this is an excellent movie. But now its only Great.
The acting, direction and pace of the movie were in balance of each other. Quite rare of the the past few movies the Director made.... He probably copied too much from the original... but lets not go there. In fact, the point of this post is nothing to do with what I think of the movie. But rather what I saw.
I guess the film art module I took made me see more details than usual.
Glad to take it.

Lunch and more at NUS
I finally pop by my old school for lunch today. dragging my colleagues along, i introduced them to jiazi at Business canteen. Its the first time for them, although 2 of them were former engineering students as well. *looks other way*
Lunch was fabulous and soon after we walked toward the bus stop to take us back to work. I stopped by the NUS publication, called The Ridge and took a copy. I recalled I used to like to grab a copy to check out the funny articles inside and the amusing pictures they have.
Sadly it seem that The Ridge has been taken over by and all Art students editor team. Every pages is flooded with thousands of words (I aint kidding). I swear I just picked up an ugly dictionary by accident.
No wonder why there aint any commercial sponsers
Prawn fishin
Its my Family day once more (dont ask) and we are going to do some Prawn fishing tml somewhere in CCK.
Anyhow, kinda feel bad that I am fishing prawn since I do have one sitting patiently on my desk (in the tank).
I thought I might want to rear the prawns I caught tml, but BBQing them is a good idea too.
Anyway... I decided its time to name my fishes. They would all be given a name and all starting with the letter A. Why? I dont know, just happen to name all my stuffs that way.
wanna help?
