I just got hold of the C&C3. If you are asking what this is, then you might be bored with what else I am about to say.

After installing 6Gb worth of data, I hurried to play it. Only to get an error message saying my graphic card aint good enough. I let out a sigh knowing that I should have gotten an awesome graphic card when I upgraded my comp 1 year back instead of settling for the built-in card.

So NOW I need to pop by Simlim and purchase a good card in order to play.

Any recommendations?

Good news everyone, rumor has it that Blizzard would be introducing a new game in Korea. I wonder which game in Korea was their all time favourite.

Pissed off

I was involved in an accident on Wed. An MPV backed into my car side door when I was in the car park. As it was a day before my grandma cremation, I did not have the mood nor the time to discuss with him on the damages. Instead we exchanged particulars and left as that.

I called that arse soon after. He agreed to meet up on Friday afternoon to settle the dispute. Having heard that I thought he is a fair person and knowing the accident was partly my fault, I was keen to bear a part of the cost.

However he changes his stance when I called him this friday morning. Claims out loud verbally that I said its my fault and daringly proposed we settle our damages on our own. I asked repeatedly to meet but since he was not keen, I asked if I could have his particulars (car plate, name). He was not willing to reveal those. And yes its my fault for not retaining it in the first place.

I told my dad about it, whom proposed we proceed to Idac to determine the cost of damage and let the insurance handle it. However, after I meet up with my dad, he decided that he should called that arse one more time to talk to him man-to-man. To be frank I was a little insulted by that, but I believe my dad wants to make a bigger stance when he meet that arse. During that conversion, that arse mentioned that I admitted it was my fault, at that moment, my dad turned to me and gave me a question look. I am angry and curious on why he chose to believe that old wily fox who damage the car than his son me. I shot out straight he is lying.

After a long discussion, that arse finally agreed to meet. As we had some time, we went to a private repair shop and was told that the damage would come up to $200. When we finally met that arse, he once again repeated his story that I admitted its my fault and so on. Looking at his car, I notice apart from light scratches, there were no dents or other damages. He could easily polish them off and get off without any cost incurred.

My dad spoke to him nicely, but he was not keen to listen. When we want to talk about the situation that day, he refused to discuss. He only wants to talk about that we are "both" at fault and that we should settle our own damages. How I wish now he has a bigger dent.

I could have added that if he wants to be fair, he should pay for mine, while I pay for his. Or that we let the insurance handle this. However both my dad and him aint keen to go through the insurance as it would mean the cost of insurance would go up.

Frankly, I do not understand why ours would go up, since clearly its not my fault to begin with. And if thats so, it wont justify a $200 damage to a yearly increase of few hundreds. However, I am pissed. I would rather foot the yearly extras then let him get away with it. Unfortunately my dad doesnt agreed and decide to shake his dirty hands.

I spoke to my dad afterwards that we should still proceed with it, since I now have his car license. However my dad was too nice and told me that since we already told him we wont, we shouldnt. I would have walk straight to make a report on this still.

Mr Tng. You may have been lucky today. You may have met the nicest father on the road, but your time would come when the roles are switched. Count yourself lucky that I wont be putting your car license plate here, nor your full name, nor your mobile number, nor your workplace.

has it been that long?

Cant believe how time flies. and boy is there lots to update.

Firstly the good news.

- my fish breeding experiment was a success. Heard from my colleagues (yes they are all Godparents wannabe now) that 3 little ones spawn from the eggs. What happen was, weeks early I separated the only male from the 6 remaining female. After 3 nights of no female contact, I placed the most fertile babe into his private bachelor pad. It must have been a long while for them cos just a day later, I have to remove them from the bachelor pad and convert it to a nursing home for several eggs were spotted.

- I finally bought my own raquet and would be training for BMO in a regular basis

And now the not so good news

- An accident occur to my School of prawns. Apparently the new grass pad I bought contains some anti-snail solution. They all had seizure and with my best attempt at saving them prove futile, I hate to say it but I killed them all.

- I was involved in a car accident yesterday. A MPV reversed into my car and with my BEST effort of horning him prove futile, I regret to say that My dad's price procession is left with scratches and a dent. Now I hope the other party would be casual in settling this and avoid me having to make an insurance claim.

goodbye puffer

I have to say goodbye to my puffer.

He just doesnt belong.

Realised that the last 2 death was due to him. That little bugger though 1/5 their size, has been harrassing my other fishies.

So this morning, I caught him and banished him to Junfeng tank. Where he would roam with the 2 remaining puffers.

Wonder if this would work out.

I have liked Take That for a real long time. All the 7-series would agree with me on this. The are one of the better bands of all time. Well 2nd only to U2 of course.

another dead fish (again)

I notice before I left work on Thursday that one of my 8 orange darlings din look right. It was swimming in a slight upwards manner and struggling a little.

It might have gotten injured somehow and I thought over the long weekend it would be able to recover.

Sadly as I appeared in office this morning, I was welcome by it half eaten carcass at the bottom of the tank. I sighed.

Counting this, I lost 5 fishes in total. (2 yellow suckers, 1 brown sucker, 1 brown prawn) and since it was one of the original 8, it hurts the most.

Death is part and parcel of owning a fish tank. As such, I decide to mourn for its death and not get any more new fishies for now. The orange darlings were the hardiest or the lot. Din expect one of them to leave so soon.

In other news, the surrounding 3 tanks all have mysterious death. Junfeng's lost a puffer, Emmeline's lost a prawn and a sucker, Eileen's lost a prawn (though she found a dried one on her desk).

we should mourn together.

Transformer toys

For those who dont know, I am quite a toy fanatic. Esp towards Transformers. And yes the upcoming movie in July is just gonna be another spending spree for me.

JFK fishies

Well I wanted to blog about this earlier but totally forgotten.

My office buddy and one of the few who knows I blog in office, has gotten himself a fishtank.

Frankly I have no idea what inspire him considering he has a whole koi pond at home.

In any case, here is his setup


there are 4 puffer fishes here. and boy are they bloody meat eaters


In total there are 3 puffer fish remaining, 1 kinda die for unknown reason. and he bought 2 ermm red fishes which i have no idea what they are called

To sum up, my office space has 3 new fish rearers in a matter of weeks. 2 of them are using flower vase with tiny fishies while the new guy is using a tank bigger than mine. I hope our fengshui improves. after all, pay increment is 3 mths now.
