Ok I kinda lost count on which version my fish tank.

There is just too many things I have added from time to time that I have forgotten. And today, I bought more prawns once more and yaa some worms as well.

Was tempted to get a new plant but decided to wait a little.

Anyway, for those who wants to experience keeping fish but lazy to do anything else. Here is something you can try

I recently acquire some nasty but all so irresitable Wasabi crackers. My dear colleague has handed to me one pack and I am all so grateful to her. (PS. it has pass 3 mths. no longer calling her a newbie)

anyhow here is my stockpile in case of wall war

- davidoff coffee (these are fab)
- green tea
- kungfu chinese tea leaves
- unopened ribena since JFK party mid last year
- Preserved strawberries from China
- Campbell soups
- House of steam potatoes (wasabi crackers)

I recently been offered an extension to my contract.

The strange thing is that I had a whole year left and am surprise to get this extension so soon. It makes me a little wary about the whole situation. Are they intending to promote me or raise my paycheck for fear that I would be leaving soon.

In fact, I din care about this whole issue. I am pretty happy where I am now and to be frank, I believe I am the only person working here who has no idea how much salary I am drawing each month. Yep. I am that bochup.

So I view this whole contract extension with little anticipation but with a slight curiousity. I went up and met the manager. She show me the T&C. It pretty much look the same as before.

And yes there is no "additional benefits"

So anyhow, I put pen to paper and extend my stay here for 4 more years.

For those who wonder why I made such a moove. My gut feeling tells me that 2008 would be a bad year. So hang on to your jobs if you have one. And for those still looking for a dream job, my strong advise is to find an acceptable one soon. Before you have none at all.

sometime you wont know how much

One of my closest bud is in a little gf trouble. He has been sharing it with me and it does make me reflect back on myself and my past.

Relationship is a fragile state. A state where a slight movement will rock this boat and the rocking always intensified and it might lead to a eventual capsize. (ok I am getting too much influence from my Ship projects)

The thing is both parties had always assume that they are in a R/S, they expect the other to revolve their world around them. This was so kindly brought up by my Priest yesterday whom surely has never been married. But yet strangely his words enlighten me on what a outsider would see among 2 couples.

Anyway back to the first point. We all would ran into instances where we would get upset. It could be over something small. eg, the tone on the sms, the lack of smile in the morning. Or something not that small. eg, old pic of an ex lying somewhere hidden. And though this wouldnt normally start any fight on a normal sunny day, the anger is kept inside and not forgotten.

This ends up getting accumulated and in time to come, the fault finding would start. "Why you do this...", "Cant you be more...", "Must you always..." These would becoming the tsunami alert that a storm is brewing. Had the "opponent" relented and apologised for their actions. The tidal wave would end up looking like a splash from ECP. However, the moment the other half retaliate and protected themself, insisting they are of no fault (which is probably true). An endless fight would occur. Past issue that haunts them would be brought to support the argument that probably has no basis.

As Yoda said a Long time ago, "Fear leads to Anger, Anger leads to Hate, Hate leads to Suffering."

But still does mereing giving in in the first place, help salvage the situation. Well it does lessen the blow, but it doesnt remove any of the archive angers the parties are keeping. It would take a desire to communicate and to maintain this between both parties to put away all the baggages. There should be no fear to open a conversation. Even if its pertaining to a small issue. "Sweetie, I dont like your tone this morning....", "Ohh didnt realise I had a tone, sorry Sweetie. Lets have a nice evening to make up."

Anyhow, I think I been naggy and windy enough for this post. Perhaps I would write again but well I dont really like to (a)

kill my aircon

It has been a chilling few months.

Where I am sitted I have the fortune of 2 aircon ducts placed above me. One dedicated to blow to my desk while the other focus to blow my back. There is simply no running away from them.

I did a survey around and was amuse to find that no one was as fortunate as me. Perhaps I should take over Kimi nick as the Iceman. I definately have the cool factor and love to speed too.

Months earlier, I became the self proclaim hero. I climbed up onto my desk to tape a portion for the aircon duct that I share with my colleague. This portion has been blowing strongly onto her and her cough never seems to end.

This plan though work, backfire when it causes the remaining untape portion to funnel all the aircon onto me. Well I didnt know this at first. But slowly day after day, my goosebumps come up and I started to sneeze. My hot water direct from my kettle would stay hot no more than 5 mins (I aint kidding).

I even put on a jacket. Something I never do, even when I was in Aussie during the winter. Anyhow, I decide enough is enough. I cut out a longer strip of blank tape and climb up the peak once again. "Die you bloodly aircon die", as I thought.

The remaining exposed piece is sealed for good now. No more chills to bear as I type my email/report and even this post. And to celebrate, I made nice hot cup of coffee. Enjoying the lasting warmth as much as I can.

Well yes, the rest of the aircon duct in my level (and the rest of the building) would probably experience the funnel effect too. But who cares.

Anyway there is none other than Tracey.

She has been my companion for many months now and I cant imagine my nights without her. She has been there to cheer me up and make me smile.

This recent trip we ended up watching tennis alot. I enjoyed watching Nadal but sadly he lost to Federer again.... Well he has age on his side and shall to overtake Federer in time.

My dear buddy (now my colleague as well) has commented that no one works on friday

I cant help but agreed that that is very true. Indeed friday is a day of weekend anticipation. where the time you arrive in office, you are only waiting for the clock to hit 6.

And even when you have meetings, everyone from the supplier to the customer seems to be in a good mood.

Now does that mean Thurs is an anticipation for Friday :)

In other news, Threadless has been ordered and I have sore throat and 2 freaking ulcers. Stuck in a happy place and a bad mood at the same time.

Hi again mama

I was in a bad mood today. Din seem to understand why, till I met my mama once more.

Its All Saints Day today. A holiday to the Europeans perhaps but a day of obligation to me. I went to church with my family and straight after Mass ended, we went to find mama.

I could barely remember where she is. Its about 6 months since I last stood here and the feeling overwhelming came back to me.

My hands are held together and I pray as if I was talking to her. I told her that I miss her dearly, miss walking by her side, miss her so much.

I wish she could see me now. I wish she would be around. But alas I knew the time has passed.

Goodbye my dear Mama, thanks for being my pillar of strength.
