Terrorist drill

As you probably know by now (from the papers), in 5 different places in singapore 5 drills were conducted to prepare the public and the scdf/police/politician of a possible terrorist attack.

WHAT I want to know is why do they have to conduct such things at 6am in the morning. The sun is not yet shinning but I have to endure almost 30 mins of continous siren blasting. Ambulances, fire engines, police cars (din see the subaru though) came one after the other blasting their horns.

I just gotten in bed 3 hours before to catch the liverpool match, which was fabulous btw. Imagine how grumpy i was!!

Anyhow in the evening later, my family were talking about this event. It was surprising to note that if this had been real, most of us will just ignore it and return back to sleep. There wont be any scramble to find the nearest bomb shelter. It will just be another day. Think we singaporean are quite bo char after all.

Ah well, I hope they will hold this exercise elsewhere. Like some unused mrt station or so. Just not mine.
