This is an Advert for Orangina. A citrus acidic drink which I enjoyed when not having gastric pains.
What I dont understand abt this ad is that, why is the animals all frolicking with different species. This aint a beer/liquor ad and it makes totally no sense whatsoever.
Any comments my dear copywriters buds?

threadless late
dear all threadless fans whom have placed their orders thru me.
They apparently have been shipped since 15 Dec but have no idea why the delivery has yet to arrive. My only guess is that this is the crunch period and even reputed company such as UPS might face with a slight delay.
Which brings me to an earlier incident. When we jointly place an order in Mid Nov, I had blind faith in Vpost and decided to try shipping through them in hope that it would get us some savings. Well the shipment through to the US address was cheap and fast indeed. But I would have to hand this to threadless and UPS efficient.
However after the parcel arrived there, it was the start of hell. They took delivery of the item and ransack it. After which they attempted to stick everything back in the box with horrible repackaging conditions. And only after this decided its time to deliver.
I waited and waited and was left frustrated that it could take 3 weeks (they promise up to 8 days) for the items to arrive. And thats after 2 phonecalls.
When they finally arrived (on Monday) with the horrible state. I was pissed off and call vpost immediately. They customer service officer was stunned and could not assist me. I was then referred to someone one. She offered her apologies and would be looking into the matter.
I am not seeking into any compensation but merely a good explanation why I had paid good money (the amount ends up slightly more ex) and yet I gotten a later shipment on top of a damaged parcel. It makes me wonder what would have happen had this not been a bunch of tees. I guess I wont know.
But what I do know is that I dont trust vpost no more.
I didnt wanted to post something as such. But having waited a few days for vpost to response, my only guess is that they probably wont. So my readers out there, please avoid vpost as much as you can. You will curse and swear.
Anyhow, I seek your patience in our last big order together (shipped by Threadless direct). It should arrive early next week. I do know some of these are Christmas gifts, hope they wont be too late for your distribution

Jingle bell
Christmas aint complete without Christmas carols. How I miss the times back in my scout days while I sang along with those pretty girl guides and bring joy to the less fortunate.
Strangely I din realise, Jingle bells sounds differently when played backwards

Need a suit
I would most definitely need to get myself a suit. Its gonna cost me a small bomb but well, its time I get one. And what a better time then the year end sales period.
Next year, I need to attend a commissioning parade, be my Bro best man and use it to cover the bat suit I had underneath. It better be worth it.

BLM the City
I have ermm owned a City Now
You can do so too. But well do help my poor city grow while it can.
Please... grow my city
Miss my fishies
I am sitting here wondering on the 3 weeks ahead.
From now till Jan, I would be back to my national duties. Yes back to picking leaves and cleaning the birds.
Thinking of this long time away, I cant help but miss my cubicle and of cos my babies.
They would be all alone and left to the prying hands of my eager colleagues. Aside from one whom I do trust, I am pretty sure the rest would attempt to feed them more than once a day.
I do hope, I wont have too much of a mess to clear up when I get back. Would you believe I am contemplating popping back on some weekends to take a look at them. Perhaps I would....
Anyway, I saw some fishes at a fish seller today. They have some baby sharks thingy that look cute. I am tempted to get some... and I would probably do.
Well in the meantime, I pondered if I should get these

Face value
What is the value of Face?
Has it come down to be more important for one to retain their reputation at the expense of their children happiness? Would other people stares and talking behind your back matters to you? Would you have rather listen to your children whom are the ones involve?
Or perhaps I am naive and gullible to answer these.
In 24 hrs, it would all be over. Run while you can I would say. But sadly "Fate" awaits.
This page would remain silent for the next few days.

Hard to work
Well I am mostly done with work.
Just hanging out in office and waiting for the time to leave. Its then I decided that I should probably watching some "whose line is it anyway" in this almost empty office.
Its then I notice that my laughter is making people realise I aint working. So glad my boss is overseas
Oh this would make a nice party game (or campfire game)
unhappy baker
Its always good to spend the afternoon away from work with a great pal of mine. Today we venture into a quiet spot of singapore, hidden away, for some coffee.
I spotted a bakery there, well not really a bakery.... Anyhow, I could tell the baker was not too keen on making christmasy items.
This is a good example.
And this is like 4 out of 5.
In other news I actually clear my room today. All my toys are neatly kept in a glass cabinet. And lock away from my nephews' hands.
Machine girl
This feels like Kill Bill, but its not.
I hope its a real movie and not a mash up fan flick. Cos it looks fun(ny)

Pretend to be an Time Traveler
Do fun things like this:
Walk up to random people and say “WHAT YEAR IS THIS?” and when they tell you, get quiet and then say “Then there’s still time!” and run off.
flooded table again
I had thought the horrible tank leaking issue was over.
To think the surprise I gotten when I walked into my desk in the morning to see my table once again has pooled. My laptop was sitting nonchalant surrounded by the yellow water, refusing to turn on. I only glad that there is no important paper that is soaked.
And NOOooo, there is no pics of it becos I was busy bailing water out.
Anyhow, I did a CSI and investigate my tank. After all this is fairly new and I shldnt be expecting any leak (yet). In the end I managed to trace it to my new pump. And its bloodly my fault.
My new pump has a slight vibration which bugs me abit. After cutting a piece of gauze for my open wound finger, I tried to be smart and use the remainer as shock absorption material. And it works well.
Up until the time when the flowrate of the pump drops.....
The water ended up dribbling and sipping onto gauze and direct to the table. Grumbles
I am glad its not a leaky tank. Would have thought so had I not investigate. Well maybe I shld try out for CSI. Might be good to get a civil servant benefit and pay

New pump and burnt finger
I would first like to draw your attention to my brand new pump.
I got this baby (which is about twice the size of my old pump) has I accidentally broke the old pump while cleaning it. As you probably wont be able to see, the tube has a crack. Silly me.
And this new baby works wonders. It is able to pump 2 times faster, allowing my tank to circulate much better. I bet my fishes would all loose abit of weight now that they have to swim faster.
In an old news, this is the current state of my finger. Its looks like raw meat, smells like raw meat, I wonder if it would taste like...
Anyway, it has like 2-3 ulcer at the center and hurt when touch. A funny friend of mine ask if I had stick it up somewhere. Very funny Martin!
Speed camera
A while back Top Gear presented a speed camera test. Well the theory is, is it possible for a car to beat the speed camera.
Video 1
Video 2
Video 3
Hmmm it does give you the idea how to beat the local speed cameras does it

Win Some, Lose Some
In life we dont always win all the time. At times we hit a bad patch and the cycle continues endlessly it seem. Its good to know that when it drops low, your fortune could only get better afterwards.
Anyhow, I am still in pain over my steam cooked finger. Its been a few days of severe blistering till i decided to crack my knuckles and accident burst it yesterday. So now while typing this with the pain bugging me, i ponder on why i kept adding more words to this.
Anyhow, I adore Robbie and this is my favorite song of all time from him.
And yes he screw up the lyric.
Time passes by
Lately there are too many sad news. Most of which I really have no idea how to deal with it.
They have left me rather lost and though I have been through those similar roads myself, the pain felt was not easy to deal with.
Inky's dear elder brother has left us last saturday. My old friend from Uni, whom I worked closely with during my FYP has lost his dad on the same day as well. Time seem to have slip by so quickly and before you felt it, the moment has pass.
I urge those who are reading this to cherish the loved ones whom are around us at the moment. Even when if you see them everyday, make an effort to spend some bonding time with them. May it be over dinner or simply just hanging out in front of the noisy box. Its the presence of your company that matters.
To my 2 dearest friend whom lost their loved ones. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong and relearn to smile. We shall catchup soon.

A380
I was in changi north for a meeting. A brief one but nevertheless a meeting that requires my attention.
I met the French whom I have consider to be one of the nicest people I have ever met. Anyhow, as I sat with the window facing my back, I was interrupted by their manager who enthusiastically walk in.
He raised the blinds and said any minute now.
Its then I witness first hand of the jumbo jet arrival. It crosses the window and landed out of sight. The sight of an oversize plane is simply amazing. The aeronautical technology and investment to make this a reality never failed to surprise me. Its like a chicken can fly.
I must said that the French are proud of this. After all, Airbus is part owned by them :)
Now all I need is to plan on a trip to Aus on this European machine.

My sunday
Its always great to spend some time with a car craze friend of mine. He loves his Japanese machine and adore the endless modifications that can be done.
Its surprising to know that when I told him that I wanted to checkout the Audi R8, he gave me a blank look. Its almost like he was wondering what I was up to. Well I must admit, I am fascinated by the first Audi Supercar.
And indeed I was not disappointed. The eyes (headlights) of the car alone are to die for. It portray a vampire like character like no other. Clearly this car is a work of art and had replace the Lotus Elise (that I have been admiring) has the new dream car.
Now I just need to save 400K first.
